Driving 4th for Veterans

Driving 4th for Veterans Helps KC Veterans in Need. June 28 through July 4th

Driving 4th for Veterans is the Automobile Dealers of Greater Kansas City Charitable Foundation’s way to thank Kansas City area veterans by helping our hometown heroes in need. Contributions are earmarked for two charities – VFW’s “Unmet Needs” Program and Heart of America Stand Down.  “Unmet Needs” provide free grants for local military families who face urgent financial issues due to rent, mortgage, utilities, vehicle repair, medical and food expenses. Heart of America Stand Down Foundation’s mission is to provide marginal or homeless veterans with access to short and long term community resources to assist them in living a productive, fulfilling life. All funds will stay in the Kansas City area to help local veterans and their families.

Kansas City new car dealers have a history of supporting charities and worthy causes and established a charitable foundation to help Kansas City residents. They recognize the sacrifice and heroism of veterans as well as some of the unique financial and health issues they face when they return home.  The 4th of the July is the perfect time to celebrate our freedom and the sacrifices of our vets.  Driving 4th for Veterans will be annual event to help veterans that have fallen on tough times.

Please join us in honoring the men and women who have served in our country’s armed forces.
